Lisa James is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, who has always had an aptitude toward health and wellness – working in the field for decades.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami (Coral Gables) and a Masters in the Science of Nutrition from the College of Saint Elizabeth.
Her son’s diagnosis of a rare food allergy known as FPIES, or food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome, initially prompted her to specialize in pediatrics.
Like many adolescent girls, Lisa once struggled with maintaining a healthy relationship with food and her weight. It’s now her mission to help you and your child improve your overall health and well-being from the inside, out.
She specializes in overweight and obesity, poor growth, picky eating and food allergies. She also focuses on infant feeding and prenatal nutrition.
In her free time, she enjoys competing in triathlons, cooking and spending time with her son and husband.
