Joanne Moller-Moon is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Pennsylvania Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience as a therapist. She provides psychological services for adults and adolescents with a wide range of concerns that include anxiety, OCD, depression, pain management, eating disorders/body image, and life transitional issues. Joanne passionately believes in the transformative power of the therapeutic process and its ability to promote positive growth, challenge destructive patterns, and facilitate skill development to modify thinking and behavior. She is dedicated to helping her clients recognize their internal strengths and work towards a fulfilling life that optimizes their health and well-being. Joanne’s professional training enables her to use diverse approaches in addressing client needs; these include CBT, MBSR, ACT and RT. She earned her Diplomate status from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, is trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction through Jefferson Hospital, and is trained in integrating mindfulness strategies with CBT through the Beck Institute. In addition, she received her certification in the assessment and treatment of postpartum depression from the Postpartum Stress Center, is a certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist through NACBT and is a certified RT therapist.  Joanne has met the requirements and is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and Certified Telemental Health Provider (CTMH) Joanne has worked in a variety of clinical, academic (secondary and college), and medical settings, and has presented numerous workshops at the state and national levels. She earned her Master’s degree from Adams State University, and has completed postgraduate work at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Springfield College and Southwestern College.
