Christie Capriotti

Christie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who specializes in both early intervention with typically developing children and the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder. Christie also treats young children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She has been practicing in the field for 18 years and has a passion for working as a team member with families and empowering parents to be an active part in their child’s development and treatment.

Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Clemson University, a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Georgia State University, and post-graduate certificates from North Texas University in Applied Behavior Analysis. Christie obtained Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst in 2013 from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Christie has highly developed skills in the treatment and reduction of disruptive or difficult behaviors and in the area of skill acquisition across a variety of topographies. Christie treats a wide variety of behaviors pertaining to preschool and elementary aged children including disruptive behavior, anger management, social skills, play skills, language skills, organizational skills, compliance with home and school routines, toilet training, and feeding.
